The 2023 Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts was the seventeenth staging of the Grand Slam of Darts, organised by the Professional Darts Corporation. The event took place at the WV Active Aldersley, Wolverhampton, from 11–19 November 2023.[1]
Michael Smith was the defending champion, after defeating Nathan Aspinall 16–5 in the 2022 final[2], but despite winning his first two group games, he was knocked out of the tournament by a 5–1 defeat to James Wade, becoming the first defending champion since Raymond van Barneveld in 2013 to be knocked out at the group stage.
Luke Humphries won his second consecutive PDC major title, by defeating Rob Cross 16–8 in the final.[3]
Ryan Searle hit a nine-dart finish in his group stage match against Nathan Rafferty.
This was the first time since the 2013 World Grand Prix where all 4 semi-finalists came from England.
